Job Description

1. Design and drafting of Parts and assemblies using latest SolidWorks software
2. Solve design related issues in co-ordination from other departments
3. Co-ordinate with Vendor & Production Team in drawing related issues

The Welding Operator will be responsible for performing TIG and orbital welding on stainless steel (SS304 & SS316) components used in dairy processing equipment and pipelines. The role ensures compliance with food-grade welding standards, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform TIG (GTAW) and orbital welding on stainless steel components.
2. Ensure compliance with ASME BPE, 3A Dairy Standards, and GMP regulations.
3. Conduct weld inspections and utilize NDT methods (DPT, RT) for quality verification.
4. Prepare, clean, and maintain welding surfaces to meet food-grade hygiene standards.
5. Operate, maintain, and calibrate welding equipment to ensure efficiency.
6. Follow ISO 22000, HACCP, and workplace safety protocols.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education

1. ITI/Diploma in Welding or a related field.

Experience

Technical Skills

1. Expertise in TIG welding, orbital welding, and sanitary welding.
2. Knowledge of stainless steel passivation and food-grade fabrication.
3. Familiarity with AWS, ASME welding codes and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting site installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems, including motion control and VFDs/servos. This role requires readiness for site visits and hands-on work in industrial environments.

1. Instrumentation Control and Electrical Systems

1. Assist with the installation, calibration, and maintenance of various instrumentation and electrical equipment.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Welding Engineer to support our dairy automation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing welding processes, ensuring the quality of stainless steel welding used in dairy equipment, and maintaining compliance with food-grade industry standards. This role requires expertise in sanitary welding, stainless steel fabrication, and process piping to support the production of high-quality dairy processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and optimize welding procedures for stainless steel fabrication used in dairy processing equipment.
2. Ensure all welding work complies with food-grade industry standards such as 3A Dairy Standards, ASME BPE, and AWS D18.1 for sanitary welding.
3. Select appropriate welding techniques (TIG, MIG, orbital welding, etc.) and materials for dairy industry applications.
4. Conduct welding inspections and ensure adherence to strict hygiene and quality control standards.
5. Collaborate with design, production, and automation teams to improve welding processes for dairy machinery and piping systems.

2. 4-5 years of experience in welding engineering, preferably in the dairy, food, or pharmaceutical industry.
3. Strong expertise in welding stainless steel (SS304 & SS316L) and sanitary piping systems.
4. Knowledge of TIG welding, orbital welding, and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
5. Familiarity with sanitary design principles and food safety requirements.
6. Ability to interpret welding codes and standards such as ASME BPE, AWS D18.1, and 3A Sanitary Standards.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
8. Experience with welding automation and robotic welding is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certified Welding Engineer (CWE) or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
