Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting site installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems, including motion control and VFDs/servos. This role requires readiness for site visits and hands-on work in industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Instrumentation Control and Electrical Systems
- Assist with the installation, calibration, and maintenance of various instrumentation and electrical equipment.
- Support troubleshooting and diagnostics for instrumentation and control systems to ensure high performance and safety standards.
- Document procedures, findings, and repairs, maintaining a comprehensive record of all activities and calibrations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic diagrams and P&IDs.
2. Site Visits and Field Support
- Perform maintenance and resolve on-site technical issues.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and technicians to ensure smooth installation, commissioning, and operational start-up of equipment at client sites.
- Address real-time issues and coordinate with the team to provide remote or on-site troubleshooting.
3. PLC Programming and Troubleshooting
- Support PLC programming, primarily focusing on Rockwell Automation ControlLogix and CompactLogix platforms, for basic to intermediate troubleshooting.
- Learn and assist in programming modifications, configuration adjustments, and testing to optimize system performance.
- Assist in developing and interpreting electrical and PLC diagrams, manuals, and procedures for troubleshooting and system improvements.
- Support on-site installation, commissioning, and erection of automation systems.
- Assist senior engineers with PLC programming and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in instrumentation, electrical engineering, or industrial automation.
Skills Required:
1. Technical Skills:
- Foundational knowledge of instrumentation and electrical systems.
- Basic proficiency in PLC programming, ideally with Rockwell ControlLogix and CompactLogix platforms.
- Familiarity with motion control systems and their application in industrial processes will be an advantage.
2. Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize site visits and on-site tasks.
3. Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel for site visits as required by project needs.
